A quick review of the assets declared by the candidates shows that not everyone were truthful. For example, Dayanidhi Maran declared assets of 1.4 Crores (according to report by adrindia.org) when he drives a top-end Benz and owns a bungalow on the most expensive suburb (Boat Club road) in Chennai.

This petition is to request the EC to verify and take appropriate action against those candidates who blatantly and purposefully mislead people.
